Canada offers many work opportunities for skilled foreign workers, with worker-friendly immigration policies. Foreign workers can obtain closed, open or post-graduation work permits after graduation from university. Canada is a diverse country with a stable economy, offering many job opportunities in different sectors, such as information technology, healthcare, natural resources, retail and hospitality.

Open work permit

The open work permit is a type of work permit that allows foreign workers to work for any employer in Canada, without having to obtain a specific job offer. The open work permit is generally issued to foreign workers who are already in Canada and who meet certain eligibility criteria, such as spouses of temporary residents or university graduates. Open work permit holders can work for any employer in Canada during the term of their permit.

Closed work permit

The closed work permit is a type of work permit that allows foreign workers to work for a specific employer in Canada, which is named on their permit. Foreign workers must have a job offer from a Canadian employer before they can apply for a closed work permit. The closed work permit is generally valid for the duration of employment specified on the job offer.

Post-Graduation Work Permit

The Post-Graduation Work Permit is a type of work permit that allows international students who have graduated from a Canadian educational institution to work in Canada to gain work experience. Post-graduation work permit holders can work for any employer in Canada for up to three years, depending on the length of their study program.
